Set discretely within a 43-acre estate in Clenchwarton that is comprised of a myriad of spectacular habitats, Margaretta House and The Pool House is a unique combination of stately house, impressive grounds and modern amenities. Here you can enjoy the use of the heated pool even in the depths of the winter, before striding out to explore the stunning setting.
Upon arrival, the scale of the rooms, their windows and the surrounds are immediately impressive. Further investigation reveals a formal dining room, a light airy sitting room, sunny conservatory and a country-style kitchen, all of which are on the ground floor. With so much space, Margaretta House and The Pool House is an excellent venue for celebrations.
Moving into the bedrooms, eight exceptional bedrooms have been prepared with fine white linens, each with their own styling, and all with wonderful full-length windows that provide views over the landscape. For those that require twin beds,four of the rooms can be requested as twin or as super-king sized double beds, just let us know when making the booking. Please note, one of the bedrooms is the garden annex. This is separate to the main house, but is only just across the dining terrace, adjacent to the indoor pool.
Outside, the unique nature of the property continues to impress, with a superb mix of formal lawns, tree-lined avenues, wildflower meadows, lakes and woodland. Each season will reveal hidden delights, with the ever-changing landscape continuously shifting from one season to the next. Margaretta House and The Pool House also boasts an indoor heated swimming pool and a dining terrace, making it the ultimate location for summer fun.

Additional Information:
Three well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Dogs must be kept under control and in sight when exploring the wider estate and on lead when near to wildlife such as deer and sheep.
A mixture of synthetic and feather bedding is provided.
Please be aware, there are two lakes on the site. Children must be supervised at all times.
Please bring your own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine, starter selection provided.
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot.

We had a fantastic stay, celebrating a 30th birthday with friends. Liz was very friendly, super responsive and helpful and even made us a delicious crumble! The house was spotless and well done up to a high standard. We loved the pool and fire pit and wandering around the garden. We would definitely come back!

We stayed here to celebrate my mumâs 65th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful details that made it feel really special. The swimming pool was amazing, and the peaceful surroundings, complete with sheep in the fields, made it feel like a true countryside escape. Everything worked perfectly: plenty of hot water, strong Wi-Fi, a lovely piano, and a great dining table for family meals. The place created a memory that weâll all remember for a long time. Highly recommended!
