Set discretely within a 43-acre estate in Clenchwarton that is comprised of a myriad of spectacular habitats, Margaretta House and The Pool House is a unique combination of stately house, impressive grounds and modern amenities. Here you can enjoy the use of the heated pool even in the depths of the winter, before striding out to explore the stunning setting.
Upon arrival, the scale of the rooms, their windows and the surrounds are immediately impressive. Further investigation reveals a formal dining room, a light airy sitting room, sunny conservatory and a country-style kitchen, all of which are on the ground floor. With so much space, Margaretta House and The Pool House is an excellent venue for celebrations.
Moving into the bedrooms, eight exceptional bedrooms have been prepared with fine white linens, each with their own styling, and all with wonderful full-length windows that provide views over the landscape. For those that require twin beds, two can be requested, just let us know when making the booking. Please note, one of the bedrooms is the garden annex. This is separate to the main house, but is only just across the dining terrace, adjacent to the indoor pool.
Outside, the unique nature of the property continues to impress, with a superb mix of formal lawns, tree-lined avenues, wildflower meadows, lakes and woodland. Each season will reveal hidden delights, with the ever-changing landscape continuously shifting from one season to the next. Margaretta House and The Pool House also boasts an indoor heated swimming pool and a dining terrace, making it the ultimate location for summer fun.

Additional Information:
Three well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Dogs must be kept under control and in sight when exploring the wider estate and on lead when near to wildlife such as deer and sheep.
A mixture of synthetic and feather bedding is provided.
Please be aware, there are two lakes on the site. Children must be supervised at all times.
Please bring your own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine, starter selection provided.
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot.

What can I say? This property exceeded our expectations and was a fabulous home for us, our 3 children/wives/husbands and 4 small grandchildren. The house had everything we could possibly wish for, the beds were extremely comfortable, lots of room for the grandchildren to play hide and seek, but the jewel in the crown for us was the heated pool, outside play park, trampoline and football net!! The grandchildren also enjoyed looking for the sheep in the field next door. Elizabeth answered any questions I had promptly and even left us an apple crumble and custard to enjoy! I cannot recommend this property more highly and only wished we could have stayed longer!! Thank you so much for a fabulous weekend!

"Margaretta House" Amazing Experience.. A Touch of Uniqueness. The property is situated on several acres of land, with lush green yards, A Cute Ram and Ducks, The surrounding woods provide a peaceful and serene experience, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was truly impressed by the beauty and serenity of the property. The expansive green and well-maintained yards which adds to the overall charm and tranquillity of the place. I highly recommend visiting this property if you are looking for a peaceful and picturesque retreat. It offers a perfect blend of nature and calmness, and I am confident that you will find it as enchanting as I did.

I recently stayed at this lovely cottage and I couldnât have asked for a better experience. The location is fantastic â conveniently close to shopping and great restaurants, which made everything so accessible. The cottage itself was immaculate, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the heated pool â it was absolutely amazing and provided the perfect spot for relaxation. The property was spacious giving us plenty of room to unwind and enjoy our time. Overall it was a wonderful stay and Iâd highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cosy and convenient getaway.
