Sexton's Yard Cottage is lovely characterful and cosy cottage located in a private road in the quiet village of Docking, just a few miles from the coast and beautiful Brancaster beach. With vaulted ceilings, exposed brick fireplace and wooden beams, this is a relaxing and romantic couples retreat.
Sexton's Yard Cottage has a really lovely welcoming feel as soon as you step inside the front door. Managed by the owners who live close by, a stable door opens into the open-plan living area which has a beautiful exposed brick feature fireplace with multi-fuel stove, making it the perfect spot to hunker down on chillier evenings.With comfortable seating and dining space for four people, plus a Smart television with WiFi and radio, this room is great to snuggle up in with a glass of wine. The country kitchen is well-equipped and has been kitted out with modern appliances and solid oak work surfaces - perfect if you wish to cook. There is certainly plenty of delicious local Norfolk local produce to tempt you!
Upstairs you will find two stylish bedrooms. Offering a double bed, the master bedroom is a lovely room full of character with vaulted ceiling, exposed chimney breast and beams. Bedroom two also hosts a double bed and features a charming painted stone feature wall. These bedrooms are served by good-sized shower room.
Outside there is a sunny fully-enclosed shingle courtyard garden with garden furniture so you can soak up the rays and dine alfresco or enjoy the homemade cake the owner bakes for you on arrival! Sexton's Yard Cottage benefits from an allocated parking space for one car.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sextonâs Yard Cottage. The hosts were so friendly and thoughtful. We stayed over Christmas and New Year and were treated to some lovely goodies to make our stay extra special. The cottage was very clean which is our top priority. We were there with our adult daughters and the space was very cosy. The small bedroom has no storage and so they had to use the wardrobe and drawers in our room. However, we had a fabulous time and it is a great location.

Lovely and very well equipped cottage - exactly as described. Would happily stay again. Friendly welcoming hosts. We had a fabulous relaxing time and so so many places to visit. The dog also enjoyed herself and was welcomed wherever we went. Thank you.

We have had a very lovely week in a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. The dog enjoyed it too! So many places to visit and things to see. We have no idea how the stove works because we ate out every day and never got around to turning it on! Thank you for the welcome package - delicious lemon drizzle cake. It's been a great week and we'd certainly recommend it to others. Thank you so much.
