Approximately 40 miles from the university town of Cambridge and cities of Norwich and Peterborough. Norfolk offers splendid scenery and buildings of historical interest, local crafts and markets, picturesque villages, lots of good restaurants and pubs, protected coastline and sites for wildlife. Kings Lynn, the closest town, is an historic port with connections to King John who lost his treasure when he left Lynn to go to Newark. There are some good shops, theatres, restaurants, cafes, museums and lots of quaint alleys and old buildings. Close by is Thetford Forest with adventure park and rspb Nature Reserve. Stockcar and speedway at the Norfolk Arena, 2 miles. Whether you like steam railways, cycling, walking, golf, fishing, riding, bowling, clay pigeon shooting, nature, wildlife, architecture or just a visit to the beach, Norfolk can offer something for everyone. Pubs, shop/PO and restaurant 1 mile. Village shop on-site (open Easter-Oct half term).

The Wicket Keeper’s Cottage, ref 23243, and Oak Keepers Cottage, ref 23848, are in the same ownership, ½ mile away.
