The entire area is a paradise for birdwatchers, with two RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell (within 8 miles), while royal enthusiasts can visit the house and gardens at the Sandringham Estate (6.5 miles). Further along the coast, Holkham (16.5 miles) is known for its historic house and stunning beach, where pine forest and sweeping sand dunes fringe the sea all the way to Wells-next-the-Sea.
