Situated in the delightful coastal village of Heacham, Cheney Hollow is a traditional Norfolk carrstone and flint detached cottage full of charm and character, set in mature landscaped gardens. This three bedroom, dog and family-friendly cottage was originally three farm labourers cottages, now converted into a larger fully modernised property within easy reach of some excellent pubs, world-renowned birding locations, and many other attractions.
Situated in the genteel coastal village of Heacham, Cheney Hollow is a traditional Norfolk carrstone and flint detached cottage full of charm and character, set in mature landscaped gardens. The bright triple aspect kitchen/ breakfast room forms the heart of the home, and is well-equipped with an Aga and Neff double oven, plus all the essentials any enthusiastic chef could need. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out, with a choice of reception rooms, a games room hosting a small snooker table and football table, a playroom for younger children, as well as a large enclosed garden featuring a terrace and lawns. Three generous first floor bedrooms all have access to an en-suite bath or shower. For larger families, there is a sofa bed in the conservatory/ playroom which is suitable for accommodating two extra children, if required.
Cheney Hollow is located between the two shingled sandy beaches of North Beach and South Beach; ideal for long beach walks with the dogs. Heacham has many footpaths to discover, and a great beach side promenade that stretches all the way to the iconic carrstone cliffs of neighbouring Hunstanton. Look out for popular Bordoli's pizza truck that visits the village on a Wednesday evening, and be sure to sample the gooiest of treats from Breakfast and Brownies on the high street. There is also a great antiques shop and cafe to be found next to the Tesco Express. For a larger supermarket, Lidl is located on on the road to Snettisham, and there is a big Tesco in Hunstanton, which also has EV chargers in the car park and a fuel station. For a special culinary experience, head inland to the village of Docking to sample the delights of the Nest Farmhouse, run by a Michelin star award winning team, or head further along the coast from Heacham to Old Hunstanton to find Michelin restaurant, The Neptune.
Cheney Hollow is also available as a sleeps four Cheney Hollow (4), or a sleeps two Cheney Hollow (2) option. For larger groups the neighbouring cottage Badgers Den can be booked with Cheney Hollow.
