Pear Tree Cottage is a beautifully presented period cottage set right in the heart of the quiet coastal village of Holme-next-the-Sea, located within easy walking distance of the sandy beach and Old Hunstanton Golf Club.
This delightful flint character cottage is perfect for a break any time of year. In the warmer months children and dogs can enjoy the large south facing garden and there is also a small sunny terrace to the rear of the cottage where you can enjoy drinks and meals. When the nights draw in, snuggle down and warm your toes in front of the wood burning stove in the cosy sitting room.
From the ground floor, winding stairs lead to the first floor - please note, these stairs may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. With a spacious double bedroom on the first floor, and a well-equipped kitchen, this charming cottage is perfect for a couple wanting to be in a good spot close to the village pub, which incidentally serves good home-cooked food and ales.
With the beach and plenty of paths, tracks and quiet country lanes on your doorstep, Pear Tree is a great base for exploring the area. A longer walk or few minutes in the car takes you to the village of Thornham with its gastro pubs, popular delicatessen and cafe, and Drove Orchards with its farm shop, Eric's award-winning fish and chip restaurant, Gurney's fish stall and independent boutiques. Nearby Hunstanton also offers a wealth of other attractions and facilities.

First time at Pear Tree Cottage - a lovely cosy wee house. A nice welcome from Kevin and full marks to the cleaner, it's immaculate. Hope to return next year. Enjoyed reading the history of the cottage. In Scotland the street would be Church Gate (Kirk being the word for Church).

Lovely cottage, with nice courtyard garden and fantastic larger grassed garden a few meters form the property. Very quiet location but near to fantastic beaches and walks.
