The location of the cottage is a quiet country village; Pentney offers local amenities and its own history of Pentney Abbey, the castle ruins and its original walls around the village and Pentney Lakes is a great place for water skiers and fishermen too. The cottage is not far from many historic national trust houses such as Oxborough Hall, St George’s Guildhall in King’s Lynn, market towns such as Wisbech, where there is the amazing historic Peckover House and Gardens and the city of Peterborough. In addition to the fabulous back garden setting, the property is surrounded by nature reserves and wildlife centres, the Welney Wash Wetlands is only a short drive away and is another haven for bird spotting too.
