Reviewers rave about the comfortable beds and the spaciousness of the house, which accommodates multiple generations and provides a relaxing retreat. The property's design and calming interiors also contribute to the overall comfort.
The house is repeatedly described as well-equipped, with all necessary facilities for a holiday stay. One suggestion for a new vacuum cleaner indicates a slight room for improvement in maintenance.
While guests express overall satisfaction with their experience, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.
A super spacious coastal style timber clad detached house in the village of Ingoldisthorpe, Sandpiper House is a perfect hideaway and excellent base for couples, families and groups of friends to enjoy North Norfolk throughout the seasons. There is easy access to good local amenities, some of North Norfolk's most glorious of beaches, and amazing birdlife with Ken Hill, the home to Springwatch only 2 miles away.
Tucked away, and surrounded by fields and rolling countryside with easy access to country walks from the back of the house, Sandpiper House offers all the benefits of comfortable, contemporary living. Using a palette of muted colours throughout, and with a nod to the nearby coast from decorative items and artworks on the walls, the house has a lovely calm and relaxing vibe. The ground floor living areas are divided by the entrance hallway. To one side, a large open-plan dual aspect sociable kitchen/dining area runs the full length of the house, with enough space for a comfortable seating area at the far end too, where bi-fold doors open to the patio and garden beyond. The kitchen is top notch and, as you might expect, very well equipped. There's a separate sitting room to the other side of the house, also dual aspect, that offers a quieter, more chilled out option and, with french doors, further access to the garden. In between the two a useful utility room takes care of the domestic side of life, and there's the convenience of a cloakroom on this level too.
Upstairs are four rather luxe beautifully furnished bedrooms, two king-size and two twin, all beds with deep quality mattresses. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and there is also a large family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. Sandpiper House is a light and airy comfortably furnished property where every little detail has been considered to make sure your holiday is complete and hassle free. The enclosed sunny rear garden is ideal for dining al fresco in the summer months.
Ingoldisthorpe is a small, quiet village between the busier villages of Snettisham and Dersingham, on the Wash coast. Within easy walking distance there are good shops in both villages, each one has a popular pub serving great food, and Snettisham has the extremely popular cafe, The Old Store, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch all day. Some of the best family and dog friendly beaches the coast has to offer are a short drive away from the house. Sandringham House, walks in Wild Ken Hill, rspb at Snettisham and Houghton Hall are close by, and there's some wonderful walking in on the Peddars Way and North Norfolk Coastal path, all a short drive away. Snettisham Park Farm very popular with families is a short walk across the fields (or a five minute drive away) where you can meet the resident deer (which can also be seen by walking across the fields at the back of the house).
This property can also be booked as a sleeps four option, with two of the bedrooms closed off, listed as Sandpiper House (4).

What a lovely house. Very clean and everything you need provided. Lots of space for five adults and two children and a dog. Close to lots of beaches and attractions. Lovely sandy beach at Brancaster. Would definitely recommend The Old Store in Snettisham for breakfast, was amazing food, friendly staff and dogs welcome. First family holiday to Norfolk, will definitely return.
