Always a concern renting a holiday cottage in January but I need not have worried; Lavender Cottage was absolutely fab, warm & welcoming,clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The welcome pack was brilliant and good quality, even included a few bits for the dog! The cottage doesn't have allocated parking but this really was not a problem, we unloaded and loaded again directly outside from door and then parked less than 5 mins walk away without issue. The rooms are all well proportioned and to have a lovely deep bath with plenty of hot water was an added bonus. Cottage was comfortably warm the whole weekend. You can walk to a good sand & pebble beach in 15mins which was pretty much empty each day. I would recommend the West Norfolk pub a 15 min walk, service and food top class. Also had good breakfast at Norfolk Lavender 5mins drive. Will definitely return to Lavender Cottage in the future, especially for a peaceful winter break.

All good. Everything you needed for a winter break. Only one negative. The cottage would benefit from a door between the lounge and kitchen to make the lounge more cosy.
