Finished to a very high standard with two king-size beds, French linens and a hand-built kitchen it’s an ideal place for a small family, couples or friends looking for a short break or longer stay.
Hunker down in the cosy sitting room in front of the wood burning stove and large television before cooking up a treat in the fabulous hand-built kitchen. Dine in the pretty garden room with its feature lantern light and open up the french doors on warmer days onto the pretty rear garden.
A traditional Norfolk winder staircase leads you up to two pretty bedrooms, both beautifully styled with sumptuous French linens to ensure a good night’s sleep. Upstairs you will also find the bathroom with a corner shower, contemporary freestanding bath and stone wash basin.
Although chock-full of character, this little abode with keep you as warm as toast even in the coldest of winter months as all the windows are double-glazed. The fully-enclosed rear garden is laid to lawn with a terrace area and to the front there is a further garden laid to lawn, although this is not fully enclosed.
There is an excellent pub, The Gin Tra, just a short walk away from the cottage serving good food, fine ales and a tempting array of 100 gins and there's even a quirky village shop. With endless walking and cycling possibilities along the Peddars Way and across the Ringstead Downs you will just fall in love with this place.

Neighbouring properties do have an access path through the garden.
The Norfolk Winder stairs are, as with older character cottages, enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. Here they are carpeted and have a hand rail on one side only.

The cottage is very comfortable and spacious for two people and snug too, with the efficient log burner. The furnishings are tasteful and interesting, with quirky touches. The kitchen is well-lit and easy to use, and the king-size bed welcoming, with linen bedding. Great location near the coast and walking distance to the amazing village shop and The Gin Trap pub, with its excellent food.

The cottage was lovely and tastefully furnished with everything you need for a holiday.The village again is charming with a great shop and The Gin Trap is a very welcoming pub within a short walk. Access to the coastline is a 5 minute drive which gives access to great beaches and coastal villages. We had a great time and would stay again.

Weather was chilly so were very grateful for a cosy cottage and nice fire. discovered the chalk pit and highly recommend walks there and the general store!
