Guests say

Sandy Toes Cottage is a spacious and comfortable property with a tranquil setting, ideal for family vacations and group gatherings. Guests appreciate the large garden, sociable kitchen, and the peaceful, rural location. The welcoming touches from the host add to the homely feel, and the property's seclusion is perfect for stargazing.

The cottage is generally described as clean and comfortable. One mention of an unclean BBQ does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback on cleanliness.

The location is praised for its tranquillity and seclusion, with no immediate neighbours and wildlife sightings. It is also conveniently close to shops and attractions by car.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property spacious, with ample room for large groups and families. The cosy log fire and conservatory are highlights for a relaxing stay.

While the property is well-equipped for large parties, there are comments about insufficient cutlery and the need for better kitchenware. The abundance of space and the garden are appreciated, but some maintenance issues are noted.

The host's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests noting welcome baskets and birthday celebrations. However, it should be noted that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed.

Amazing place to stay. Well managed and very well decorated.

Whilst it is a nice house in a lovely location it is a little worse for wear. It needs the decoration attending to and it would have been nice if there were more than seven forks for an eight person stay. The mismatched crockery and cutlery looked like they came from a charity shop and we had to put the dishwasher on 3 times a day due to lack of cutlery and suitable glasses. After a cold wet visit to Ely we were looking forward to a cosy afternoon in front of the fire only to discover there was no fuel. Overall dissappointing
