The Nurseries offers rest and relaxation in sophisticated, comfortable surroundings that are cool and refreshing in the summer, and cosy cuddle-up hygge in the winter. A great deal of thought has been put into making the detached barn just that little bit extra special. There are wooden plank doors with Suffolk forged iron handles, stunning concrete tiled floors in the main living space and Danish style furniture. The open-plan main living space has a light and airy feel with a high vaulted ceiling with oak beams, three large roof lights which allow sunlight to flood in all year round and grand concrete 'statement' lights, all beautifully complemented by comfortable Fritz Hansen furniture and interesting accessories.

The modern fitted kitchen at the far end of the room is well-equipped with everything you will need when you prefer to dine in - the separate dining room has smooth ceramic flooring and a large picture window overlooking the angular landscaped enclosed garden and is fabulous for lazy lunches and dinners late into the night. You can also relax or read on the large comfy B&B Italia chair, which looks out to the garden.

There is underfloor heating to most rooms and a wood burning stove provides extra warmth for when the days and nights turn nippy. With three bedrooms (king-size, double and a twin) and two bathrooms, The Nurseries is sure to appeal to all manner of holidaymakers; families, couples and friends, but especially to those who are looking for luxurious, elegant accommodation in a peaceful rural location. Although it is all on one level, there are two steps between several rooms within the property (see additional information).

Wonderful walking and cycling opportunities abound in this area, and there's easy access to the coast as well as many nearby attractions. As an added extra for 2019, cyclists can now securely lock away bikes in a custom-made cycle shed. For those of you who love to spend time on the beach, The Nurseries has its own pretty as a picture, handmade and well-equipped pink beach hut at Old Hunstanton.

Shrimpers Beach Hut is an optional Beach Hut at Old Hunstanton that can be booked in addition to The Nurseries

A comfortable hut with absolutely everything you will need for a day on the beach at Old Hunstanton. The hut is painted pink (the only one on the beach, you can't miss it!) and has candy striped curtains, a stylish herringbone daybed, Lloyd Loom chairs with pretty cushions, a stylish striped blanket box, checked wooden table and gas fired stove with two rings, pretty crockery, vintage cups and kettle. Fitted cupboards store buckets, spades, shrimp net, colouring books, games and space to hang your clothes and towels, for those of you who love to spend time on the beach.
