Briston is an ideal location for exploring the nearby North Norfolk coastline, and this cottage is located alongside the wonderful Explorers Bar, perfect for enjoying an evening meal after a busy day spent exploring. Staying in this fantastic area of Norfolk will leave you spoilt for choice for things to do, with quaint coastal villages and towns to potter around in, and stunning sandy beaches to spend your time on. Just a few minutes drive away is the popular Georgian market town of Holt and just a few miles further is the wonderful Norfolk Coast and a selection of National Trust properties, such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall. Fans of nature will find Norfolk a haven, with its fantastic range of RSPB sites and wildlife centres. Why not pop to Blakeney, where you can take boat trips to see the seals, or go crabbing on the harbour at Wells-next-the-Sea before hopping on the small train to explore the vast, spotless beach and sand dunes? This ground floor cottage is ideal for couples looking to enjoy the numerous sights and stunning scenery you can enjoy throughout the year.
The large village of Briston is situated in North Norfolk and offers an excellent local store, a village Post Office, a good bakery and a superb butcher's shop, in addition to two pubs, a sports playing field and a large village green. Set in a central position, the village provides a good base from which to explore the surrounding area. So whether its boat trips and seal spotting, a day exploring some of the historic towns or an afternoon beside the sea, this lovely location has lots to see and do.
