The popular seaside resort of Cromer, 2 miles, for promenade, end of pier live entertainment (seasonal), rnli Lifeboat Station and museum, cliff top golf course, excellent sandy beach, many shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. There is an indoor splash aqua pool, North Norfolk Steam Railway, shire horse centre, military collection all within an easy drive. Daily boat trips are available from Morston Harbour to visit the seal colonies and Blakeney Point. RSPB nature and bird reserves nearby. NT historical houses, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park, Blickling and Holkham Hall and parkland within surrounding area. City of Norwich for excellent shopping, art galleries, theatre, castle museum, cinema complexes, bowling alleys, cafés, restaurants, and pubs 40 minutes’ drive. Shops and pubs 400 yards, restaurant 500 yards.

The cottage was the perfect location for our Christmas break with fabulous views across the sea. While there was a strong cold wind outside the cottage was warm and cosy. The decorations were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas celebrations. Would definitely recommend for a holiday any time of the year.

The accommodation is good with washer dryer, wifi, and all the services you would expect.We selected this property as it had a shower/toilet and a bedroom on the ground floor due to mobility issues with my mother-in-law.It's a two up, two down with a kitchen and shower/toilet extended on the ground floor and a shower toilet extended on the first floor.There is a large conservatory on the side of the property which serves as a dining room and lounge. With all two up, two down properties if someone in the upstairs front room needs to use the toilet either they have to go through the other upstairs bedroom or go down the steep stairs to the toilet downstairs.When you look out of the window the sea fills the vista but you can't hear it that much. The walk to the beach is very steep so not for the faint hearted.My mother-in-law loves her soaps but the smart TV in the conservatory has limited terrestrial channels yet the TV in the middle ground floor seemed to have more.My wife loves cooking but the kitchen was a bit challenging, the hob lights didn't work and most of the equipment is basic, but I think we are unusual in attempting to cook.There is a cafe very close by which seemed very popular.As my mother-in-law has a disabled badge it was easier to drive to Cromer, about 9 minutes, and park on the promenade to get to the beach.The property has good parking and all we needed to stay and enjoy a break.
