You will be well placed to explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline, and your four-legged friends are very welcome too. For dog owners/walkers, there is a lovely footpath just round the corner from the cottage which takes you to historic Little Walsingham.
Fakenham Racecourse is 5 miles away, along with Fakenham Golf Course which is open to non-members to ‘pay to play’. South Creake Fishing Lakes, just 7 miles away, offer a 3-acre fishing lake providing a wide range of fishing from the beginner to the most competent carp anglers.
You will be 6 miles from the popular and much photographed village of Wells-next-the-Sea and it won’t take you long to discover why so many fall in love with this resort. With a gorgeous and bustling quay, an electric bus leading to a wide, sandy, dog-friendly beach decked with colourful beach huts and a great selection of traditional and artisan places to eat, drink and shop all await you.
Venture east of here and try a spot of crabbing at Blakeney or head to the bustling coastal market towns of Sheringham and Cromer, both of which boast great beaches and lots of attractions. Or head west and discover a string of pretty coastal towns and villages, all of which offer great places to eat and various beach habitats. Nearby also lies the Thursford Collection with the much celebrated and visited Thursford Christmas Spectacular attractions. And, to make your trip to Norfolk complete, heading south you will find the Norfolk Broads, all of which make Clevency Cottages a great choice for your Norfolk holiday. Beach 6½ miles.
