Guests say

The Maltings is a well-received cottage, praised for its immaculate condition, generous welcome pack, and beautiful styling. Guests appreciate its peaceful location, proximity to the coast, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. While there is a mention of evening noise from an attached house, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as immaculate and beautifully appointed, indicating a high level of cleanliness. The property is noted for being homely and comfortable, with fresh flowers adding to the clean and welcoming atmosphere.

The location is appreciated for its quiet, rural setting and proximity to beaches and local attractions. It is described as peaceful and ideal for exploring the coastline, with easy access to nature reserves and seaside towns.

The cottage is repeatedly referred to as cosy, comfortable, and spacious, with a particularly comfortable bed mentioned. The enclosed garden and underfloor heating contribute to the overall comfort of the guests' stay.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and generous welcome hamper. However, there are some concerns about the shower experience and a few niggles with kitchen appliances, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome hamper, which is frequently mentioned and appreciated. While gifts are a highlight, it is noted that such generosity, though common, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

As others have said, the property is immaculate and in a quiet rural location, the welcome pack was generous and welcome. But in the evenings after 5pm there was a lot of noise from the attached house, banging doors and kids arguing which spoiled it for me.So if you don't mind some noise in the evenings this place could be ideal
