The Hideaway in Sheringham is a well-received cottage praised for its prime location near the sea and shops, offering a comfortable bed and peaceful courtyard. It's well-equipped for a self-catering stay, with a spacious kitchen and modern amenities. Despite some concerns about a soft mattress and temporary noise from nearby construction, guests enjoyed their stay and appreciated the property's cleanliness and convenience.
Guests consistently described the property as clean, with one mentioning lovely soft towels and provided cleaning supplies. The only minor issue was a temporary damp smell that cleared upon airing out.
The location is highly praised for being close to the seafront, high street, and local attractions, with the convenience of parking and a quiet setting despite its central location.
The majority of guests found the bed comfortable and the property cosy, although a few guests noted the mattress was too soft for their personal preference.
The property is well-equipped for a self-catering stay, with a spacious and modern kitchen. However, there was an instance of construction noise nearby which temporarily affected the enjoyment of the facilities.
While guests were generally happy with their stay, there were no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the owners, so it is not possible to score this category.

The Hideaway was perfectly located for our weekend getaway to Sheringham. The high street and the beach were within easy walking distance, so we were able to park the car and not worry about it again for the whole weekend. The courtyard was lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed eating outside when weather permitted. In doors there was plenty of room for a romantic get away for two. The bed was really comfortable, and the large table and mirror were perfect for doing hair and makeup. In the lounge it was really comfortable for watching TV and relaxing. The kitchen area down one side was really spacious and modern. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

This Hideway was compact and cosy. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped. All on one level, bonus for us. Nice little garden with chairs and tables. Wonderful location for the beach and town where there are lots of cafes and pubs. A very interesting museum too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
