Lovingly renovated, marrying modern and traditional materials, it was shortlisted for the ‘Master Builder’ Award in 2010. It is tucked away a stone’s throw from the picturesque quay with fishing harbour and the town centre with its shops and restaurants. Boat trips are available to see the seal colony. RSPB and nature reserves just a short drive. Sailing, fishing, walking and bird watching available locally. Holkham Hall and beach 2 miles. Shops and pubs ¼ mile.

Our family of four and small dog had a lovely stay at Madeleine's Barn over the Christmas week. The Barn was very clean and well equipped as well as being nicely done making it a comfortable space which worked very well for us. We also really appreciated the festive decorations and welcome food a drink, which were special touches. The mezzanine area was a great additional space which our children (teen/pre teen) particularly enjoyed using. Location is great, close to the quay but quiet and parking ample and easily accessed. Highly recommend.

Excellent accomodation. Very clean great location would have given it 5 Star but the radiator in the bathroom thermostat wasn't working but nonetheless a great property
