Guests say

Guests have praised the cottage for its stunning location, cleanliness, and comfort. The property is well-maintained with thoughtful touches, though some mentioned minor maintenance issues and parking challenges. The surrounding views and local walks are highlights, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The majority of reviews commend the cottage for its cleanliness, with guests noting it as warm, cosy, and well-kept. One review mentioned finding unclean utensils, but this seems an isolated incident.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with stunning views and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests noted parking difficulties and a few negative interactions with locals.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. There are some remarks about bedroom doors not closing properly and a low ceiling in one room, slightly affecting the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially the kitchen and shower. However, maintenance issues like door handles and locks, and a noisy water pump, along with comments on the lack of TVs in bedrooms and incomplete bathroom work, impact the score.

Several reviews mention the owner's thoughtfulness, including welcome packs and dog treats. While these gestures are appreciated, it's important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

A charming cottage style. Very clean & tidy with great comfortable beds. Waking in the morning and looking out the window at amazing scenery. Had breakfast outside on the table overlooking the countryside, what a great start to any day. This place had everything you could need for your stay. Roadside parking was no problem.

. disappointed.. garden insecure, this needs to be stated.. and there was no garden!! Just a Front yard and not secure.

It had all the mod cons needed for a pleasant stay. Decoration in the house is lovely and it is well maintained. If you have any mobility issues, this is not the house for you - due to the steps up to the house (no handrail), the steep internal stairs and no access to close parking (as the neighbour constantly has a van, a car and a motorbike in the parking area opposite the house). The details provided in the house relating to general procedures are out of date - everything refers to Covid 19 and lockdown. Laundry procedures and bin collection responsibilities etc., require a clearer explanation.
