Just returned from a lovely stay at Longsands Retreat. The accommodation was perfect for us...very spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and such a perfect location.

We stayed as a family of 5, 2 grown up children and a 10 year old. The apartment was plenty big enough for us all and very comfortable. We had an issue with the hot water but this was fixed very quickly and did not inconvenience us at all. The owner was excellent at keeping us in the loop as to what was happening. The apartment is well equipped and decorated beautifully.The apartment is sandwiched between two fantastic beaches and at the end of the street is Front St with plenty of places to eat, drink and buy essentials.Be sure to try Steam and Salt Sauna on Longsands (2 min walk) absolutely fabulous! We had a great meal at Lola Jeans and would recommend a visit to the market at Tynemouth station on Sat and Sundays.
