The Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europe where guests can dine in the restaurant. Very comfortable and in a central position, but quiet as very little traffic. There is no garden, just a paved sitting out area, but for dog owners it is just a and a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the river with wonderful views of the castle which is ideal for off lead walks.

Comfortable little cottage, fully equipped kitchen. Close to Alnwick town and all it had to offer. Excellent parking provided. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did my little cockapoo, Honey.
