Alnwick has its majestic medieval castle and one of the biggest water gardens in Europe. Visit Holy Island or Farne Islands, to see seal and puffin colonies. Shop 200 yards.

Great location. Welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Only downside was one bedroom had a small 'double' which was not big enough for two adults but understand this will be rectified. Due to location it is great to have parking offroad but it is really only suitable for one car as couldnt really open garage door which is part of parking available, However parking can be found on the road. Sasha was really helpful with any problems.

We really enjoyed our stay and particularly loved the location, being so close to the beach. The private parking was a great bonus, and the back garden was a lovely space to have and made the stay feel very relaxing.There are a few areas we felt could be improved to make the property even better. Some of the furnishings and kitchen equipment, particularly the cooker and pans, felt like they were in need of an update. We also noticed that all of the dining chairs were dirty, and there were stains on the duvet and mattress, so a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance would make a big difference.We also felt it is important to mention the bed in the second bedroom. It is not suitable for two full-size adults, and as a result this made our stay quite uncomfortable.A few of the lights buzzed or flickered, and the doors could be difficult to use as they either stuck or had handles positioned very close to the door frame. This was particularly tricky with a young child and made the property feel less child-friendly than it could be.Finally, the TV unexpectedly switched itself on at around 5am, which was a little startling!Overall, we had a lovely stay and really appreciated the fantastic location, private parking and garden. With a little updating and some attention to maintenance and cleanliness, we think this could be an excellent property.

What a fantastic holiday accommodation. The photos do not do it justice for how perfect this is for a family holiday - especially if you have a dog! Immaculately presented throughout with high quality bedding and towels. The walk from the front gate to being on the very beautiful dog friendly beach is around 1 minute. The apartment was very well equipped and even provided a welcome basket and cleaning essentials. The back garden was a lovely safe space to sit in. To confirm the property has a large bathroom with shower over bath plus a separate shower room which also has another toilet and sink in as well. Alnmouth is a beautiful village and the apartment was within 5 minutes walk of the local amenities. We have an EV car and were easily able to find local charging points - including just further up the road as the apartment. The apartment is the perfect location for exploring Northumberland and very peaceful on a night. We had excellent communications and information provided by the owners in advance of the holiday and they were really quick to respond to queries before we arrived. After stopping in various accommodations in Northumberland this has been out favourite and we will definitely look to rebook in the future.
