What a lovely little cottage. Well equipped kitchen if you like cooking, just as well I have a husband that does. Good central location for a choice of walks. We visited with our cocker spaniel so was spoilt for choice. We went to Alnmouth Beach, Thrunton Woods, Hepburn Woods, river walk in Alnwick, Breamish Valley walk etc. The cottage has a gorgeous big garden, totally enclosed so very safe for the dog. There is seating at the top of the garden, however, it was quite hot and could have benefitted from an umbrella for shade. Water pressure is good, so the shower was lovely. WiFi signal was good too. The cottage was really clean too. There was supposed to be a welcome pack for the dog, but nothing was left, this was an oversight and Stuart did apologise for this. Nice gesture from the owners on arrival was a bottle of wine and some ginger biscuits, which were great. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

Lovely one bedroom cottage in a rural setting served by a main road nearby.Nearest town is Alnwick just 15 mins drive away with supermarkets, local shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is well presented with only a couple of small niggles if we were being picky namely only one bedside lamp in the bedroom but overall we had an extremely pleasant stay.On arrival we had the basics ie loo roll, milk and a bottle of wine left for us. We are more than happy to recommend this cottage.
