The attic bedroom the mattress is very uncomfortable needs replacing no support in it and got a sore back. The house is ideally placed great for wandering round Alnwick and local areas

We had a great holiday staying here BUT I think the lounge area would feel a bit cramped if there were 5 people staying as it is marketed as being for 5.There were 3 of us, my hubby and I stayed on the top floor. I didn't realise how sloped the ceilings were ( it must be the original attic) whilst our friend had the second floor. Whilst the bedroom at the top is quirky, clean and very comfortable, its hard to wash in the sink as you can't get close without banging your head due to sloping ceilings and my husband had fun having a wet shave as the mirror is on a different wall to the sink - due to the sloping ceiling. Like I said, its quirky, very clean and comfortable and everything you need is there but its a struggle up and down those stairs with a suitcase.
