There is also the option of a second separate sitting room with a selection of sofas and a warming electric fire stove, an ideal spot for coffee. Hallgarth offers four tasteful bedrooms, beginning with a king-size with grey, black and yellow décor, a homely King-size and two twin rooms, along with a family bathroom. Visit local historical sites such as Beadnell Lime Kilns and enjoy a hot meal before heading over the sandy beach for a stroll in the salty air. You can further explore the coast at Northumberland coast AONB or the near by town of Seahouses, offering Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours, or there is the option of the historic town of Bamburgh where you can visit the magnificent castle and end your day with a walk along another lovely beach. Enjoy the coast of Northumberland with a stay at Hallgarth.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

Shower heads need cleaning. An outside light for the rear garden would be good for dark nights. We had a problem with the Wi-Fi which was sorted very quickly by the owner of Hallgarth.

This is our 6th year at Hallgarth (in August) and we love it! The house is very well appointed, a fantastic size and very nicely decorated. The sunny, enclosed, south west facing garden is a lovely place to spend time when we're not on the beach, or exploring the area. The beautiful safe beach is only five minutes away and there are many fabulous walks to great pubs and cafes. The Landings (also 5 minutes away)is a new addition to Beadnell and is a great place to eat drink and generally be merry!! There is so much to do here, something for everyone: coasteering, paddle boarding, beach yoga, horse riding, golf, castles to visit, boat trips to the Farne Islands etc, we're still finding new places to go. Can't wait for next year!

Large property but kitchen would be small if fully occupied. No freezer on listing but there is one and another fridge in the garage. Listing needs amending. Casings for both could do witha good clean. Windows and external doors would benefit from some general maintenance they're stiff to open and lock.
