Many fabulous walks, cycle routes in the area. Alnwick Castle, gardens within 30-minute drive. Golf, riding, sea fishing, watersports nearby. Access to A1 to explore further afield - Berwick and Metro Centre an hour’s drive. Shops 1½ miles.

We have stayed here many times. Fantastic location. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable apartment. Appreciated the recent changes, especially the lovely new sofa!Jetty cottage such a calm space to watch the tides and birds.We will definitely be back.

Apartment was very clean and the out building is a wonderful space for watching the bird and watching the tides but could do with some cushions for the bench. The kitchen is very well equipped, but had to store things on the work top as no empty cup board space also only two place mats and three coasters and the pack of tea left had been opened. It would also be nice if there had been some milk we took our own but if you forget it is a drive to the Seahouses to get some. We enjoyed our stay ad would recommend it.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. Loved having the use of the jetty cottage and spent ages in there watching the tide coming in and out and the varied bird life. Best view I’ve ever had of a kingfisher, sat just a few feet from us! The apartment is ideally placed for walks around Budle estuary and is close to Bamburgh and Seahouses and the beautiful coastline. Lots of places to eat and we particularly enjoyed the Potted Lobster and the Lord Crewe, both in Bamburgh.
