The Old Stables is a lovely ground-floor cottage lying at the centre of Belford village, set in the stunning surroundings of the Northumberland countryside. With stylish interiors and a romantic setting, this cosy abode provides the perfect retreat for couples and their four-legged friend looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enter into the bright and airy open-plan living space and be greeted by a glossy kitchen, intimate dining space and seating area, perfect for snuggling up at the end of an action-packed day and unwinding with a movie. Grab your bags and make your way over to the attractive bedroom decorated with neutral tones and lovely oak wood furniture, where you can hang your belongings neatly in the storage provided. Rustle up a light lunch in the kitchen to delight in at the dining table as you discuss your plans for the evening ahead. Wander in to the chic shower room for a refreshing wash before getting ready for a night of wining and dining down at the local pub. Discover Belford's hidden museum and explore the natural sandstone St Cuthbert's Caves, before jumping in the car and travelling to Bamburgh where you can stroll along the sandy beach and view the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, as well as taking a trip to the Farne Islands to meet the colony of seals who call the island home and learn of the famous Grace Darling, daughter of the Longstone Lighthouse keeper. If you are a big fan of the Harry Potter series, stop by Anlwick Castle and saunter through the grounds of this Norman Castle that was used to film many iconic scenes used in the movie.
