We were greeted by the owner shouting '4 o'clock' at us. Admittedly, we was 15 minutes early. However, after travelling for most of the day, I hadn't noticed. It most certainly isn't dog friendly as information statesThere are signs everywhere saying 'no dogs beyond this point'. Dogs are not allowed in ghe sitting room, and you cannot use your own blankets for them on any if the furniture.Several kitchen utensils had to be cleaned before we could use them. The hottub wasn't working until it had been fixed late on Wednesday. When my son used it Thursday morning, he came out with a rash on his back. After letting the water settle, mould could be seen on the bottom of the hottub. There is a connecting corridor to the owners property, and one evening while I was out, she came walking into the farmhouse without knocking. The rest of my family was there and said she appeared to be drunk. She stayed for roughly 30 minutes before taking herself off! This was supposed to be a very special occasion celebrating my 60th birthday, and my son and son-in-law's 40th birthdays. The actual setting is absolutely gorgeous, and we would definitely visit the area again.
