Marie's Cottage in Craster is consistently praised for its cosy charm, stunning location, and modern amenities. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and the beautiful views of the harbour. The property's cleanliness and maintenance are well-regarded, with many visitors returning for multiple stays. The thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, add to the delightful experience, although they vary and are not guaranteed.
Guests frequently commend the property's cleanliness, with remarks about its well-kept state. There was a single mention of cleaning that could be more thorough, but this appears to be an isolated comment rather than a common concern.
The location is universally lauded for its stunning harbour views and proximity to local attractions. It is described as an excellent base for exploring the Northumberland coast, contributing to its perfect score.
The cottage is repeatedly described as cosy and comfortable, with comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. There is a minor note regarding light in the top bedroom, but overall, comfort is highly rated.
Facilities are generally praised, including the well-equipped kitchen and fast internet. However, there are suggestions for minor improvements such as pint glasses and more toilet rolls, indicating room for enhancement.
While welcome packs are mentioned and appreciated, the contents seem to vary, and there is a suggestion that they could include more local products. It's important to note that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Perfect for a family break, the property combines character features with all the home comforts you would expect from a high quality holiday home. A picturesque village that seems to tumble into the sea, Craster was an important fishing harbour in the 17th century and is still famous for its oak cured kippers which have graced the best breakfast tables for more than 150 years. The village offers a pub serving food, a fish restaurant and Robson's famous fish shop. There is also an excellent children's playground. Nearby are some of Northumberland's finest sandy beaches.
