Fairways is a beautifully presented linked-detached bungalow nestled amongst similar properties within the heart of the picture perfect coastal village of Beadnell. The accommodation enjoys a homely ambience and is conveniently all on the ground floor. There is a cosy wood burner in the living room ensuring a warm welcome regardless of the season. The kitchen overlooks the rear garden and a lovely private patio to dine al fresco, and both bedrooms and the family bathroom are immaculately presented.
Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and offers local facilities including family friendly pubs serving good food, all within a gentle stroll from Fairways. A small sandy bay speckled with rocky outcrops is close by and leads to a long sandy beach that stretches to Seahouses, 2 miles north. The wide expanse of golden sandy beach, which Beadnell Bay is renowned for, is within easy walking distance. This is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. Beadnell Bay is described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown; an idyllic spot for a romantic barefoot stroll in the sand to listen to the waves lap against the shoreline and inhale the invigorating sea air.
Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Here there are several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs and shops with horse riding; fishing and golf on the links close by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island, the birthplace of Christianity in England and site of Lindisfarne Castle, can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall, and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! Fairways is a very well equipped bungalow in an excellent location. Only a few hundred yards from the beach, a great village shop, cafes and the craster arms pub. 15 minute walk to the harbour area aong thefront. 30 to45 minute walk to seahouses, passing the golf club that serves great food and drink. Best place we have stayed in this part of the world.

Lovely bungalow well equipped andSpotlessly Clean Very comfortableOnly problem we had was our small dog could get through the wide gaps in the picket fencing so she could only go outside supervised on a leadChicken wire along the fencing would solve this problem easily as its not small dog friendly
