The cottage was absolutely lovely, very homely and cosy. It was modern, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had a very relaxing stay, sitting in the conservatory looking out over the old quarry was so peaceful. The location was great, very central and close to both beaches.Unfortunately, on our last day/night a group of girls came into the house next door and partied from dusk til dawn. They were very noisy, we could hear them like they were in the next room. Obviously, you can't choose your neighbours! We would definitely recommend the cottage to others and will definitely look at returning ourselves.

Had a lovely week staying here at Spring Tides. The house is located in a lovely quiet and peaceful area. It has a lot of outdoor space and a nice view over an area of water which is home to lots of birds. It was great just to sit in the garden and watch them. The house is very well equipped but unfortunately there was no hairdryer, so take one if you need one. I had to order a cheap one from Amazon. It's just a short walk to Beadnell Bay beach (stunning beach) and other beaches such as Seahouses and Banburgh are nearby and walkable. All are dog friendly. There is a lovely pub with a large beer garden and a hotel close by (10 minutes walk), both offer a good food menu. Also near the church and pub there is a cute little bistro cafe serving drinks and tapas. At the sea front there is a village shop selling all sorts of essentials and a mobile fish and chips van on the green (gorgeous fish) a bit costly but worth the treat. The only negative thing I can say about the property is the open staircase. Not good when you have a dog that wants to follow you up on a night. Maybe a gate at the bottom would solve it. Overall we had an enjoyable holiday and absolutely loved staying in this area and in this property. We would definitely revisit again. Thank you Spring Tides 😊

Shower not working which as been put in the book a couple of times witch nobody as looked at, not good having cold showers. Needs cleaning better special under sofa which as never been cleaned, no mirrow in bedroom, could do with a child gate bottom of stairs to stop dog going up stairs.Nice location looking onto the old quarry like a small lake watching different birds just needs those final touches.
