A fantastic place, very high standard accommodation . Loads to do in the area and Haltwhistle has a little high street that leads to the train station . I loved my stay here .

We live in Haltwhistle and needed somewhere to stay nearby while we had work done on our house. The Hideaway was perfect. It is right in the middle of town but tucked away so it is quiet, had a great little courtyard for the dog to potter in and for us to sit out in with a morning brew / in the evening and the whole place has been fitted out to a really high standard. We didn't want to go back to our actual house! We/our dog also appreciated the thoughtful touches of dog treats and a towel for them and a pint of milk and biscuits for us. We will definitely recommend it to friends who we can't fit in or book again if we need a home from home in the future.
