A clean, cosy, well-presented bungalow, with everything we needed. Just on the outskirts of a quiet no-through road. Friendly locals. Town is a 10-15 min walk downhill, a bit more coming back up! A good choice of shops and eateries in town. A good base for exploring this lovely area of Northumberland, with plenty of walks on the doorstep. The dog towels came in handy. 360 degree wrap around the property. Lovely seated area in the back garden which catches the sun. Beautiful sunrises from the lounge, and super dark at night so you can see the many stars. We didn’t have our dog in the back garden as there’s a small drop from the lawn to the path, but he enjoyed mooching at the front. Thanks for the goodies. Top marks to Louisa the caretaker, before and after our holiday.
