Lovely and warm and very comfortable. Could do with a coat stand or some hooks on the back of the doors to hang up wet coats. Plenty hot water, good shower. Kitchen did the job but need some oven trays as there were none. Basic, but warm, clean and comfortable - would stay again. Ideal location for exploring Warkworth and surrounding area.

The only problem we had was trying to adjust the heating ,it was very warm inside and the radiator thermostats were broken. The staff were friendly and helpful and down stairs in pub were a good selection of ales and meals, breakfast is also to be recommended. Warkworth itself is a lovely location with good restaurants and bus links. If walking is your thing, then there are plenty of places to go to. If interested in bird watching you can see from the window when the tide is low and only a few minutes walk away from viewing wading birds ,and, by the weir, a kingfisher. All in all,we thought the apartment was very good value.

1) The bedroom has no wardrobes and very limited draw space so nowhere to put shirts trousers pullover etc. 2) not enough cutlery or crockery. 3) poorly maintained as we were unable to turn radiators either down or off as the thermostatic valves were broken. 4) lounge furniture needs replacing.. 5) intermittent tv reception as Wi-Fi kept dropping out. We paid the same price for one of your (Sykes) cottages at Seahouses last year that was of a much higher standard with no complaints at all.
