The working harbour and Little Shore beach and pier are a short 700-metre stroll away, perfect for leisurely walks, ice cream by the sea, or exploring the local maritime atmosphere.

Guilders Burn was a brilliant place to stay with our 3 dogs, very convenient for walking into Amble and to the harbour. Lovely modern facilities in the house, very comfortable beds, parking outside on the road. Location great for visiting lots of local beaches and villages. Thanks to Helen who was so helpful if we had any queries.

Brilliantly equipped and comfortable ‘home from home’ in a central position, close to the high street and quayside. We loved everything about Guilders Burn and the lovely town of Amble. There was ample info regarding the house and the local facilities and the host responded quickly when we needed to speak to her, going above and beyond to support us at a difficult time. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Guilders Burn to anyone visiting beautiful Northumberland. It’s a perfect spot.
