Myself and 7 friends had a wonderful long weekend in October and the weather beautiful. The accommodation was lovely, just a few little snags. The patio door in the sitting room didn't lock and there was no bathmats. Other than that it was perfect, a fantastic location and a great weekend was had by all. Thanks so much.

We had a fantastic time staying in Amble. The house had good facilities and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and first floor living room for the seven of us who stayed. The house looks over the marina and we spent most evenings sitting out watching the sunsets. The house was clean and tidy - our only gripe would be that the grill pan and oven shelves were dirty.Amble itself is lovely with lots of opportunities for eating out as well as having a Tesco Express within a two minute walk and a larger Morrisons just a few minutes drive away. Amble is an ideal location to visit lots of Northumberland's attractions with Alnwick less than 30 minutes away and Lindisfarne just an hour away. Gragside is well worth the 30 minute drive. We were lucky enough to see the puffins on a cruise from Amble and walked along the river to Walkworth Castle.Would definitely visit again.
