Customer service via cabin escapes needs improvement. We had issues from arrival date to departure date. Although response time was quick, at no point did we receive an apology or receive a follow-up message to check that the problems had been resolved/hadn't resurfaced. Might need to have an emergency contact number for guests to contact. we had a smoke alarm issue at 3.50am, but could only message the mobile number stated in the welcome pack and didn't have a response until much later that morning. The double bed was very uncomfortable, which led to sleepless nights and in the end we had to lay on top of the duvet to sleep. We would say the Lodge was not deep cleaned before our stay (states on website lodges are deep cleaned) we found items that had been left by the last guests which included bikini pants near the hot tub - not pleasant.
