We loved our stay in Sycamore Cottage. Very comfortable and quiet and so convenient, just a couple of minutes drive from Amble where there was a lovely harbour area and plenty restaurants. Cottage had everything we could need, including a selection of books, games and DVDs. Even arrived to some cookies and a lovely bottle of wine. Such a thoughtful touch. Very steep staircase so wouldnt recommend for anyone who has any walking issues. One of my favourite memories is sitting in the window seat watching a variety of garden birds. Would recommend and hope to return some day.

Lovely cottage in a rural location, close to beaches and easy access to other attractions, especially castles and barter books. Fish market at Amble very good and plenty of places to eat out.Cottage was well equipped and comfortable.More detailed arrival instructions from A1 exit would have helped.
