Gibson House is a spacious, well-equipped cottage just a short stroll from the beach in Newbiggin by the Sea. We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is a lot bigger than it appears on the website, with everything we needed. We found the beds comfortable. It was a bonus to have two bathrooms. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk away, and there are shops close by. There is a pub next door, but didn't hear any noise from it, even at weekends. The onside parking can be a bit tight, but there is plenty of parking outside. We were very sad to leave, and hope to return soon.

Our stay at Gibson house was a lovely surprise. Having never been to Newbiggin by the Sea, we didn't know what to expect. The house was everything we wanted it to be, and the big bonus as we was skeptical is that it is literally a couple of minutes away from the beech. We was all sad to leave Gibson house and would really recommend staying there.

Very quirky setting but very comfy. Downside was that there were no welcome packs like other cottages that we have stopped in. But very spacious, home comforts too. The tv would look better on the wall in the livingroom and bedroom(bigger 1 needed). The single beds bedroom needed a tv in too. Could do with more privacy in the front and the stones need removing for sunbathing.I would definitely still recommend staying in this cottage still.
