Settled into the coastal town of Seahouses, Laydford House is a white-painted detached property within easy reach of local amenities and attractions and is the ideal Northumbrian family getaway. Park off-road and be welcomed into a light and airy sitting room with white furniture and décor complemented by colourful sofas, bright cushions and wooden flooring, making this a lovely spot to relax in with a cup of tea and plan the day ahead of you. There is also the option of relaxing in the sunroom, where there are seas of natural light allowing you to curl up with a good book.
The tasteful design of the sitting areas is continued into a contemporary kitchen where there are ample amenities catering to your culinary needs, as well as plenty of space for guests to dine together and a dining area ideal for a heart-warming meal or a family games night. On the ground floor there is a shower room for your refreshment, and there is also a bathroom on the first floor where you can indulge in a relaxing soak amongst the bubbles before settling down for the night in one of the three bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower and plenty of storage, a twin room and a single room ideal for children.
Outside there is a gravelled area with furniture so you can enjoy the sunshine whilst having breakfast. Seahouses is a wonderful coastal town with a pretty harbour and bustling town centre filled with independent shops, tasty eateries and a convenience store so you can stock up on essentials. Seahouses has a beautiful sandy beach ideal for walking, watersports and wild swimming, whilst you can sightsee along the coast with Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours. Further from the property you will find the coastal town of Bamburgh with its lovey beach and impressive castle, and from here, visit the well-known Holy Island where you can sightsee at many of the wonderful historic sites, including Lindisfarne Priory and Lindisfarne Castle.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.

Paving slabs leading to the dustbins broken unstable and dangerous no dishwasher no t/v in bedrooms could do with more wall mirrors condensation between the glass in the double glazing requires general maintenance and more attention to detail
