Guests say

Seaview House in Seahouses is highly praised for its breathtaking sea views, spacious layout, and excellent location close to the beach and village amenities. Guests consistently mention the property’s warmth, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden, making it ideal for families and dog owners. While most found the house spotlessly clean and comfortable, a few noted minor maintenance issues and occasional cleaning oversights. The management company is responsive, and thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack have been appreciated, though not guaranteed. Overall, guests report memorable and enjoyable stays, with many planning to return.

Most guests found the property spotlessly clean on arrival, with only a few isolated reports of missed areas under furniture or occasional odours. The majority of reviews highlight a high standard of cleanliness throughout the house.

The location is universally praised, with stunning views of the sea, Farne Islands, and Bamburgh Castle, and immediate access to the beach and village centre. Guests found it ideal for walks, local amenities, and exploring the area.

Guests describe the house as spacious, warm, and comfortable, with super-comfy beds and a secure garden. Some mention the sofa being too low for older guests and occasional noise/light in bedrooms, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The house is well equipped with a modern kitchen, good heating, and ample parking. Minor issues include occasional maintenance needs (e.g., water leaks, creaky beds, lack of blackout blinds), but these do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Some guests received a welcome pack and appreciated thoughtful touches, but these are not guaranteed. The management company is noted for being responsive and helpful when issues arise.

We absolutely loved staying here, there is so much room, and the view from the lounge is just awesome. Garden is very safe for dogs. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, a full size freezer and fridge. We left a couple of takeaway leaflets. Seahouses is a great place, lovely ice creams, great gift shops, and so many places to visit, cragside being a favourite. We loved chilling on the sofa in an evening, watching the tides and views change. A wonderful place !

We had a absolutely wonderful time. This house was lovely, the view from the living room was so amazing and picturesque, watching the sunset and sunrise from over the sea was stunning. The proximity to the beach was ideal. A bit of a walk from the shop, but no complaints as the walk was pleasant. I do recommend people bring binoculars or you can buy some from the National trust shop in Seahouses. Definitely recommend the boat trips to the Farne Island. Slight down-side (which can't be helped) was the Swallows which had nested just outside the top floor bedroom window and were a tad noisy at 4am. They were fantastic to watch dart in front of the window, but not appreciated that early in the morning. Will definitely consider coming back again.
