Directly overlooking the bustling harbour of Seahouses in Northumberland, The Watch House is an impressive property ideal for a family holiday. Inside, the accommodation is well-presented and spacious with awesome coastal views which you will never tire of. It’s all about the views with the living space set up so you can see the sea from every angle. The ample seating area is arranged around the large feature windows with an attractive fireplace and TV also here, making it a space you’re bound to spend lots of time. The stylish, rustic kitchen is fully fitted with everything needed to produce hearty food for your family and the adjoining dining area makes sure that you have an inviting space in which to eat, drink and socialise with the sea views providing a stunning backdrop. When it’s time to get some shut-eye to restore yourself ready for the next day’s adventures, you can choose from three delightful bedrooms, a king-size, a twin and a single; all are wonderfully presented. In the morning, you can take your pick from two contemporary shower rooms and after a rejuvenating shower, you’re good to go. Seahouses is within walking distance and offers a good variety of shops and eateries as well as miles of sandy beaches to explore. You can catch a boat from here to Farne Islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Jump in the car and head out to attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland Country Zoo, Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and Hadrian’s Wall. Activities to look forward to while you’re in the region include golf at Alnmouth, horse-riding at Slate Hall Riding Centre and surfing at Bamburgh Castle Beach. The Watch House is a stunning holiday home just perfect for a holiday you’ll remember for a lifetime thanks to its breath-taking views.
A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
