Originally built in the 1850’s, this charming property now offers a cosy retreat for couples within walking distance of the facilities within the picturesque village of Ovington set within the Tyne Valley. Ovington is situated just over a mile from Prudhoe, where there is a Riverside Country Park on the banks of the river Tyne close by. Prudhoe sits equidistant between Hexham to the west and Gateshead to the east; both being 13 miles.

Lovely little cottage. A bit out of the way but suited my needs perfectly. Will definitely be booking again. Owners were a stones throw away & very nice, greeted me on arrival. Quiet countryside area no shops close by but was a perfect base to explore close by towns and tourist spots.
