There’s also a handy utility room, which houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and handy dog shower, as well as a walk in drying closet. The Old Chase offers six bedrooms in total: two doubles with their own en-suite showers, two further doubles, a single, and a ground-floor bunk room with ensuite ideal for younger guests. A large family bathroom completes the setup, featuring a bath and walk-in shower. Central underfloor heating runs throughout, keeping things comfortable whatever the weather, as well as air conditioning in the master bedroom.

One bedroom is set in a private poolside annex with its own en-suite shower room, infrared sauna, and kitchenette opening directly onto the terrace — perfect for effortless relaxation by the pool.

With high-speed WiFi, a private cinema room, and a beautifully maintained heated swimming pool (warm from 1st May to 30th September), relaxation and entertainment are never in short supply, outside of the summer months, you can still enjoy the perfect touch of luxury — soaking under the stars in the bubbling hot tub or curling up for a movie night in the cinema room.

You’ll find a friendly local pub within strolling distance, while shops and restaurants can be reached in a matter of minutes. Chester’s Roman walls, cathedral and riverside walks offer plenty to fill your days, and for a change of pace, the buzzing cities of Liverpool and Manchester are close enough for a day trip.

Chester has quite rightly been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the city is that within a very small area there is evidence of every period of history - from the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed townhouses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture. The city has much to offer the tourist, including excellent shopping in and around the famous Tudor 'Rows' and lovely walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee and through the picturesque Grosvenor Park. Explore Chester's beautiful medieval cathedral, visit Chester Racecourse or spend a day at the world renowned Chester Zoo. Further afield, the stunning Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint market towns and villages of Cheshire and the Wirral Peninsula with its first class golf courses, are all within easy touring distance, whilst frequent rail services make Liverpool, Manchester and the North Wales coast readily accessible.
