Stonewood Country Lodge is beautiful. The owners go above and beyond leaving little extras such as board games (and plenty of them), toiletries, water, milk, tea, & coffee. The lodge was immaculate and smelled amazing when we walked in. There are plenty of utensils and cooking equipment. The park the lodge is located on is so peaceful and the neighbours were friendly. We enjoyed a walk up to the Morris Dancer on our first night then spent the remaining 3 nights relaxing after days out in Chester, (we got a day pass £15 return for 4 of us on the bus that stopped opposite the Oak pub), Cheshire Oaks and Liverpool (we used public transport again getting the bus and then a train to Liverpool). We have already recommended the lodge to friends and would definitely book again if we were in need of a short UK break. Thank you 😊
