The market town of Brampton is just 2 miles with a good range of shops and amenities, whilst the Border City of Carlisle is just 10 miles. There are many footpaths and bridleways nearby including Gelt Woods and Talkin Tarn Country Park just 3 miles where you can enjoy sailing, rowing, fishing or relax with a picnic.
