Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.
The thoughtful touches, such as the shepherd's pie and fizz provided by the hosts, are frequently appreciated by guests. It should be noted that while these gestures are well-received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
Nestled on the outskirts of Heads Nook near Brampton, Cumbria, is this superb studio-style shepherds hut, High Rigg Shepherd's Sunrise. Enjoying an exceptional location with easy access to the stunning surroundings of the Lake District National Park, along with picturesque views of duck pond and surrounding rolling countryside, High Rigg Shepherd's Sunrise is a wonderful romantic retreat for couples. Ample off-road parking greets you upon arrival, along with a large lawned area with seating and fire pit, perfect for relaxing with your favourite tipple as you recount the days adventures or toasting marshmallows. Make your way up towards the decking, where you will find a sheltered barbecue area with love seat and bubbling hot tub, as well as a table and chairs where you can dine with a backdrop of breath-taking views. Step into your new abode, where you can impress your other half with delicious meals, whipped up in the well-equipped kitchenette, ready to enjoy at the dining table over a bottle of celebratory fizz. After dinner, why not enjoy your favourite show on the Smart TV, as the woodburning stove crackles nearby. If you’re not ready for the evening to end, head out to the hot tub where you can sink back amongst the bubbles for an evening under the stars. When sleep calls, retire to the beautifully presented king-size bed, where you can catch your rest ahead of another adventure filled day. In the morning, prepare for the day in style in the small, yet well-appointed shower room. Escape to the Lakes with a stay at High Rigg Shepherd's Sunrise. Little Corby Hill, tucked away on the outskirts of Carlisle, is a charming little community. The Otter Inn pub (dog friendly), butchers, Co-op, Sally's tea room, and doctor's practise are all located in this quaint Cumbrian community, so you'll have all you need for a week-long vacation.
The settlement sits on the banks of the River Eden, which flows across open moorland and provides excellent fishing opportunities. Carlisle, a city with more services and attractions, including a 12th-century castle, is just a short drive away. There are three golf courses in the area where you can play your preferred style of golf. Walby Farm Park, Hadrian's Wall, and Talkin Tarn, which provide excellent hiking opportunities, are just a few of the nearby attractions. To name just a few nearby attractions, there's the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Lake District National Park. The beautiful town of Corby Hill is an ideal starting point for further explorations in Cumbria.
