Guests consistently praise High Rigg Shepherd's Sunrise for its peaceful and comfortable setting, with special mentions of the welcoming hosts and the delightful shepherd's pie and fizz. The property's cleanliness, cosy accommodations, and the relaxing hot tub are frequently highlighted, alongside the beautiful views and serene environment. While most experiences are positive, a single review mentions an issue with bugs and parking.
Reviews overwhelmingly indicate that the property is well-maintained and spotless, contributing to a high cleanliness score. Only one review mentioned an issue with bugs, which seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to local heritage sites and a country pub. The serene environment and wildlife add to the charm, resulting in a high score for location.
Comfort is a standout feature, with guests mentioning the cosy shepherd's huts, comfortable beds, and warm accommodations. The hot tub and romantic setting further enhance the comfort level experienced by visitors.
While guests are generally satisfied with the facilities, there is a lack of specific comments on maintenance to accurately score this category. The mention of a well-equipped property suggests good facilities, but without more detail, a score cannot be provided.
The thoughtful touches, such as the shepherd's pie and fizz provided by the hosts, are frequently appreciated by guests. It should be noted that while these gestures are well-received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Brilliant clean facilities with everything you need. The autumnal weather and rain didnât matter as the hot tub was undercover and the radiator keeps the hut really warm. There was a log fire too but we didnât need it. Bed was really comfy too. The perfect get away for that rural feel with a gorgeous view of the pond. If you do venture out thereâs a great pub down the road with amazing food too. The shepherds pie and bottle of fizz in the fridge was an added bonus. Be prepared that there is no internet or service there so you really get that âoff gridâ feel. We will definitely be back!

The hut is beautifully decorated and everything was spotless. The fire was really easy to light (only comment is make sure you bring a lighter with you to start the fire!) So peaceful with some lovely views of the pond.

Definitely be back next year.
