About this property

A charming, stone-built, semi-detached cottage on the owner’s working farm in the rural hamlet of Milton, two miles from the Cumbrian market town of Brampton. This Milton cottage has been thoughtfully converted from former farm buildings to create a tasteful, holiday cottage retreat. The open plan living accommodation at this Milton cottage is light and airy with floor-to-ceiling windows on the front and side elevations, and a French door giving access to a charming patio and lawned area, both in a perfect position for catching the sun and relaxing. On chillier nights, stoke up the woodburner, curl up and watch the stars from the windows whilst those who enjoy the cooking can rustle up a tasty treat in the kitchen behind. This Milton cottage is ideal for a small family or a couple, with a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin with family bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over. This Milton cottage is perfectly positioned for visiting the Scottish Borders, Northern Lakes and Pennines and the magnificent, historic Hadrian's Wall. This lovely Milton cottage is set in the perfect rural location for your Cumbrian break.
