A charming, mid-terrace, stone-built barn conversion located on the owners’ working livestock farm, in the rural village of Milton, just two miles from the bustling market town of Brampton with its pretty cobbled streets, shops and pubs. Swift Cottage has been thoughtfully converted, and is an ideal base for a family or friends wishing to explore this picturesque area. Tastefully decorated throughout, this delightful, single-storey cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, one with the bonus of en-suite facilities and there’s also a family bathroom available. Make your way into the welcoming open plan living area with a sitting area boasting a warming woodburning stove and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking your own private garden, while the modern and well-equipped kitchen is perfect for rustling up supper whilst planning the next day’s activities. French doors take you from the sitting area into the lawned garden; an idyllic spot to sit and relax at the end of a busy day. Swift Cottage is in an ideal location for visiting Hadrian’s Wall, Carlisle, the Lake District, the Pennines and the Scottish Borders. A wonderful place for a Cumbrian break at any time of year.
