Guests say

Swift Cottage in Cumbria receives high praise for its warm welcome, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen. The enclosed garden is a hit with pet owners, and the property's location serves as a great base for exploring. Some guests mention minor maintenance issues and a need for TLC, but overall stays are described as enjoyable and relaxing.

Reviews consistently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, with guests finding it tidy and well-kept upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The location is frequently highlighted as a great base for exploring the surrounding area, with local walks and amenities within easy reach. The peaceful setting is also appreciated, although no specific negative comments provide a balanced view.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, noting the cosy fire, comfortable beds, and the overall homely feel. The presence of a secure garden adds to the comfort for those with pets.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and garden furniture. However, some reviews point out issues with hot water consistency and the need for maintenance, such as patio repairs and hot tub cleanliness, which affects the score.

While many reviews express appreciation for the owners' welcoming and helpful nature, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score is set to null due to insufficient information.

Really lovely owners, Mabel is a very genuine caring person who makes everyone welcome. Bed in swift was super comfy and there was plenty of hot water for the large bath tub. Genuinely dog friendly properties too!
