Resting on the outskirts of the city of Carlisle, is the small village of Corby Hill. This charming, Cumbrian village houses the Otter Inn pub (dog friendly), a butchers, a Co-op, Sally’s tea room and a doctor’s surgery, ensuring all the necessities for a week-long stay. The village rests on the edge of the River Eden, where the water flows through the wonderful open moorland and offers opportunities for fishing. Within striking distance is the city of Carlisle, where you will find a larger selection of amenities and attractions including a 12th-century castle.
